I find inspiration amazing, really! But there is this kinda of big difference between inspiration and copy. We all copy things - from nature, from histories, from abstract thoughts, we mix those things and turn into something completely new and different, and that makes us creative. When you pick a character you loved so much that you want to something similar and go and make a blue eyed version of him you are just copying. Mix some shit unto it, make it completely different, be creative! Originality is about mixing and transforming, not imitating.
