Spielmann Class Heavy Destroyer and refit
I came up with this design as a gift for my new friend, 
Superbering. Like mnost destroyers of the period, the Spielmann class only has one warp nacelle, but unlike most destroyers of this size, she has a shuttlebay as well as more weapons then her cousins.

You are correct about the saucer being partial. The primary hull (saucer) is a modified version of the saucer from the USS Lynch seen here.:
