Oh Boy i looked for along time for a huge Baloo plush when the 40th anniversary Jungle Book came out i when to buy it at Best Buy and on the display they had this same bear i was like i half to have it so i asked them will you sell me it and they were like no so i searched ebay and found one and the bid went pretty high i paided alot for this teddy bear but it was worth it he's 3 foot tall and 3 foot around like way fatter than me i sleep with him every night

I know where those originated too. Back in fall of '07, various BestBuy stores had those sitting on top of a promo display for the 40th Anniversary release of "The Jungle Book" on DVD. When the promotion was over, they were raffled off to an employee who either donated it to a children's hospital or sold it. My ex and former roomie (still a good friend of mine) and I snagged one from an employee who sold it for about $350 to him. Given there's only a thousand in existence, you have one hell of valuable teddy.

That's where I first saw it at best buy. I asked the manager if I could buy it he said no. So I then lived on eBay waiting for so e one to post one for sale. And finally one came up I was in a bidding battle over it. Cost me more then 350$ ;)
