Here you go, here's the secret shit. So shhh.... Don't tell anybody. >.> Hehehe, I just love how seriously people take themselves. This one here is for all y'all in the world who think you're important business people!
LYRICS:
I live in a sub division people box because it makes me feel secure
I drive an SUV and tuck my shirt in because it makes me look mature
My career now takes up most of my life, but I love working everyday from nine to five
I'm a good little sheep and my boss even says that my future workin' upstairs is lookin' real bright
WASTE YOUR LIFE ON DRUGS, YEAH SEE IF I CARE
ONE DAY I'LL SIT UP IN THE EXECUTIVE CHAIR
FROM WAY UP THERE, I CAN SEE THE SKYLINE
BIG BUILDINGS IN THE DISTANCE DEFLECT THE SUNSHINE
I walk through the street with my blue tooth ray
Just a runnin' my mouth in every which a way
I stop at the coffee shop twice a day
Flirt with the cashier 'cuz she thinks I'm gay
I live my life in a cubicle but that's okay
'Cuz my only goal in life is to get paid
It's a boring thing to witness but the corporate world needs us
To stay updated with the SERIOUS BUSINESS!

Cool ^_^ . You wouldn't believe how much this reminds me of the stuff I used to do a long time ago. The corporate world used to be a recurring theme in the songs I did with my brother and a couple of friends back around '88-'89. In fact, the first 'band' I ever had was called 'the Businessmen'. Then, as 'the Novices', my brother and I recorded songs called "Motorcycle Businessman", "Wall Street Week" (which ended with a stock market broker jumping from his office window), and "Private Hell", which contained the following lyrics:
Five days a week going nine to five
In my own private hell, tryin' to stay alive
Sittin' in my office, behind my desk
Got my own secretary, now ain't that the best?
But I hate it... I hate it
Gotta get out of here
Take off this suit, take off this tie
Throw away my briefcase, I was livin' a lie
Who am I?
By the way... if you want to hear something really scary lol, a while back I uploaded a song by the Businessmen. This is literally the first song I ever recorded, and this year it turns 20 years old. Oh, and I actually played drums on this, so you can hear how bad I was at that lol!

Hehehe, awesome! I'm glad I ain't the only one who holds a grudge against the empire life. The way that song scrolls through various commercials seriously fucks with my mind. XD I hate more than anything that music nowadays is always sold with something, some gimmick, some bullshit...
The predecessor of the song "Radio Temptation" was a sound collage by the same name that I put together in early 1988. I taped a bunch of radio ads and spent hours and hours editing them and re-editing them, stuttering them, making them repeat themselves and so forth. The final result was over 45 minutes long lol! Looking back now, I can't believe I took the time to put together a 45-minute tape of clips that, in many cases, were only a second or two long. So what you hear in this song is only the tip of the iceberg. :D
I really like the combination of your voice and the guitar during the two strophes. Manages to convey the cynical, disillusioned, fast-track atmosphere very well.
Don't know what to make of the chorus in the middle though. To me, it kind of disrupts the atmosphere you've created in the strophes with that over-the-top percussion. A little more understatement may help it? Just a suggestion...

Indeed, indeed. That's cool, I learn something new everyday even I'll probably just get hammered tomorrow and forget about it, only to remember it once my subconcious hurls a mess of ancient burned memories through my skull through a wave of comfortably unbalanced brain chemicals. ^^
