I wanted to try my hand at some more special-effects type stuff and I decided to give *Transryu's dragon Matrix a try (because I'm totally non-creative like that).

I'm pretty happy with how the wings came out. I had a bunch of different versions with various experiments in wing-gloweyness, and this is the one that I think captures the feel of the character the best.

I actually tried to spend more time on the background and stuff than I normally do, and I think it shows a bit. I did the shading and stuff for Matrix in more of an old-school cell shaded kinda way which I think looks pretty good.
