It's said that on a clear summer's day, if you listen carefully, a soft, sweet sound wafts through the air on the breeze. It trickles through the bird's song, the cricket's chirp, and rustling of leaves. The soothing melody is a favorite of many southerners, who listen in on lazy afternoons while sipping sun tea and chatting idly on their front porch.

This was a LOT less work than I thought it'd be! Thanks in part to the oil paint tool itself, which gave the foreground grass a varied appearance without me having to do much work to it. I've had this scene in my head for a loooong time, and I was so happy to finally get it out of there. :)

About 6 hours in Corel Painter, and 15 minutes to apply shadows and a lens flare in PS.
