I finally tried it and it worked! I knitted a new pair of armwarmers for me with another technique: instead of knitting in rounds, I did it back and forth and had to sew the ends together when I was finished :3 This way it's possible to knit a lighter inner part and a darker outer one, so it looks like the scale/fur shading! XD
I made them pretty long accidently but they're snuggly and warm and reach up to my shirts! XD
It's 64 stitches around and a 100 stitches high. I dunno if I'll offer them this way, but all in all you can have a pair like this :3
