Ashleigh transferred to the PCA partway through her sophomore year after the school she was attending in Fiore proved to be somewhat inadequate for the career training she wanted to pursue. Even though she didn't want to leave her hometown, she knew it would ultimately be necessary to get the education she wanted.
Adjusting to a more battle-oriented academy has proven to be tricky at best, especially since her previous school didn't even offer a program anywhere near the level of the PCA. Fortunately she's managed to make a few friends early on, the most notable of them being a rather interesting Persian that she literally ran into during lunchtime shortly after New Year's...
I hadn't been intending to make any more characters since I'm just about at the "too many to keep track of" range, but seeing Eddie moping around for so long has made me feel bad. Let's face it, I kinda owe him after ruining his New Year's date. So, after another late night of reworking another practice doodle, here we are. :) I'm not sure if her role at the academy will go beyond being purely academic/love interest yet so I haven't given her an actual moveset, but we'll see where it goes.
That collar ruff nearly drove me crazy, it just does not translate well onto a Pokemorph. But of course I had to try, because not including it would be like leaving the cheek spots off a Pikachu... it's just too distinctive to leave out. Might've helped if I didn't wait till the very end to do it... oh well. I just wish it didn't cover up that shiny Zangoose shirt she's wearing. Grouchy cat-ferrets make the best fashion statements.

Not yet. Ashleigh is probably going to stay in non-combatant for the forseeable future. Her actual battle training is at a bare minimum since her previous school didn't have much of a program in that, and she's not sure if she wants to get into that sort of thing anyway.
The whole team have been leaning on Dusty pretty heavily to get him to join up with them though, so he's the most likely candidate for the alternate position.
