Based on the ice dragons from "Quest for Fun" (copyrights by Federico Panella and Serena).
Overall it turned out alright except for the wings (I should've put more details on them (bones, membranes, ...) but I am actually just glad that they stayed in position supported only by two short pieces of wire) :o
Of course the colours should also fade into each other but, again, no idea how to do gradients with clay.

As far as I think it works a lot like drawing: first a rough shape, then adding more and more details and in the end fixing eny flaws, errors and mistakes.
There is one nice difference though: I don't have to decide on the exact final postures and gestures right away. That stuff usually happens somewhere in between or even at the end (although I get the best results by deciding at the beginning :)
