hey! sorry i didnt reply sooner. my work used to be half price but i doubled it this year so i could have more time for personal projects instead of working all the time to make ends meet. :) i hope that answers your question!

Sorry, made the mistake assuming you were one of those people that randomly complains. I don't know if she pays taxes or not, since it's essentially a self-run contracting business. Her prices are based on the time it takes and how much money she needs for basic living necessities. It may seem expensive but if she charged less she would have to work more or possibly not be able to pay rent and such. As for the economics comment... supply and demand. Simply, if enough people are willing to pay the price then the price isn't too much. She's an amazing artist with a large following so she can charge more than artists with smaller followings, if she decides it's necessary. Feel free to note me, didn't mean to seem rude :(
