hehe nope...I used to have rats...I miss them dearly :( it's a bird cage...housing my green-cheeked conure :)

ohhh a conure! I want a Senegal rather badly, but I like conures and quakers too. :D If you had an extra I'd trade you, cause I have 9 rats. lol And myself and a few friends have a buisness going breeding pet rats for families.

What did you use to make the head?

it's a wire frame...then thin foam... then fur :3 The nose is oven-bake clay. The whiskers are heavy weight fishing line that I put in boiling water and then stretched to straighten it slightly, and then painted it.

I actually really like that this is a well-done realistic head. The markings look complex, so props with that.
