My family used to have a really smart pimped up Split Screen Volkswagen camper, I didnt manage to get any pictures of it when we had it but it was so cool. We have a T4 now which is pretty smartly done up, too. Sticks out like a sore thumb haha.

Nah, they changed the whole body style from 57 to 58

I personally like the 58 better but a majority of people prefer 57.

Ah, I see what you mean. Yeah my old man likes the 57's but I myself don't have a major preference, I'd be happy with any year shoebox to be quite honest... although I do like the dual pod lights versus singles, looks more classy =D
Looking back at the generations, I think I was mistaken the '56 vs '57 differences where the grill was the telltale sign.
