On DS, so I can't hear this until tomorrow. But there is "no tomorrow".

Well, it's just how I was feeling, well, I sort of always feel like that, but it was exceptionally bad, so this was born from the hopelessness and overwhelming shadow of nothingness that devoured what little warmth I had. So yes, there is no tomorrow.

Hah. I was just making a clicheé joke. But yeah. If you're a musician, make a song based on this concept: Yesterday was perfectly joyous. Today is miserable and nostalgic. Tomorrow is a new hope.

I often try that in my songs, by making the song nostalgic through to the end, when suddenly the theme may change, almost as if that "tomorrow" has come. Because music isn't just music. Most songs are made to tell a story.

And a story I shall tell, in a sea of notes flowing on the melodies of my heart.

I felt drawn to that desolate synth and strings just fit so well with the melody line.
