I've been working on this doll on-and-off for the past few months, so I figured it was time to post a Work in Progress shot.
This has been a fantastic challenge for me - I've tried a lot of new techniques as far as constructing the armature (wire-skeleton), making a sculpted face, and making a "muscle-base" using poly-fill and wool yarn.
As you can see there's a lot I have to work on, including how I'm going to get her head to stay attached to the wire "spine". I had it attached and glued, but it fell out when I was trying some especially stressful "poses", so now I have to re-drill the hole and re-glue it. I'm probably going to save that for the very last step.
