Yesterday, I lost a very dear friend of mine...
I've never been good at writing things like this...so much is going through my head, but what I can surely say, is that I will miss him terribly..
I made this for all to use... a badge in his honor. You may print, laminate, and wear as you please, and you may also repost. All I ask is that you give proper credit, PLEASE HAVE THE SIGNATURE VISIBLE, and if you are to repost, please link back to my page.
It's the very least I could do for him...I honestly wish I could do more.
I will miss you so much.. I only wish that we could of hung out again..we talked a short time ago, I still have your texts..they will stay there, I just cant bring myself to delete them.

People go in black suits to funerals for a reason. To not be over-bearing or obnoxious. If someone is wearing a fursuit at his grave, they should do that on their own time when no one else can really see them. But really. I don't even think this should be the case because, again, people go in as minimal and respectful clothing as possible as to have respect for others mourning the loss of the person and not to be an eye-sore or make people think about other things.
It's all about respect and paying respects to the lost person, and this includes having respect for the people who are also mourning. Hence why they respect these rules and also wear minimally obnoxious, dark clothing.

Unless he specifically mentioned he'd like something other than the standard black-clothes outfits at a funeral, it's better to keep it low-key.
Out of respect for the family at least, in case they might not like or might not understand the fandom, EVEN if their opinions are based on misconceptions.

I too had to put my 2 cents in. I couldn't agree with you more. It's a funeral, not a furmeet. The furs in the fandom knew who he was. And I know there were a lot of other who knew who he was who weren't in the fandom. There is no need for furries to show up in costume to pay respects. Lemonade knew the furs under the mask. Not just the masks themselves. I think it would be very disrespectful for to his family and friends to show up at his funeral in a fursuit. Had to say it.

Well, I would love to, and I probably will end up doing that anyway..it's just, at the rate of how many people have been posting on his page, it would surely swallow my post in minutes. It may grab a few peoples attention, but that would probably be it XD haha, it's still worth a shot.

I actually cried when I found out. It's tragic, I even posted my own journal of my thoughts. I will definitely wear this to any furry event I go to, and if it were possible and plausible, I would have gone to the funeral. I miss him already - I wish I could have at least gotten to say goodbye, one last time, remind him that I was his friend.

I did not know him, but it's still a very tragic occurence. Such a young age as well. My sincere condolences to his friends and family, including his colleague/partner Cody's family/friends. May they rest in peace. (Do hope I haven't offended at all with this comment. Didn't want to feel guilty for just simply favouriting and not posting a comment.)
R.I.P. Lemonade Coyote you were an good furry friend to all and an hero to all as an Paramedic. I may not know him but it seems like it is touching me in some way since some of the furs in the Lake Area Furry Fun group which I am in knew him. Reading the posts about him on Facebook and on here had been making me sad and I've reposted this picture on Facebook from an friend of mine. I know that rescue workers lives are at risk everyday of the year. =^.^=

I've pass for something like that a pair of month before this date, and that hurt me so bad. It's been two years since this image was uploaded, but I know that the pains feels like yesterday. SOrry if I bringed you bad memories, but anyway I wanted to say that you've got an extended paw in front of you, it's your decision to grab and hold to it. Good luck bro
