From up here, you can see a lot of aircraft being displayed to the public; as for the cockpit itself, it's what you'd expect from any other DC-10 airliner. The Extender was developed during the 1970s, 60 aircraft were built. The aircraft is a modified DC-10-30CF with a forward-side cargo door on the left, and the ability to carry up to 75 troops and 146,00lbs of cargo.

Only one of the 60 Extenders was lost due to an incident during ground maintenance, the other 59 planes are still active and will eventually be upgraded with modern conveniences.
