This was more or less before I was really a true furry. It was with a group of high school friends at the time. The GM didn't really care and the book rules were not followed to the letter. I was the only 'furry' of the 10 person group. I started as a fox with a crossbow and like 75% into the adventure the GM 'transformed' everyone nd then I become a wolf with a cannon for an arm He made some of the woman grow into DD bras and +100 to secduce and things like that

With the lycanthrope base you can make any bi-pedal animal a player-character.
Plus with the addition to 3.5 of the book: Races of the Wild, they added a race called Catfolk which made it easy to be any type of cat-person.

They also had Lizard-folk
and half-dragon playable characters
D&D is an extremely broad game in terms of races you can play as.
(All those are book-made creatures/races...not homebrews, although our DM let us homebrew like hell!)
