Commission for  Maitre_Joker of their rusty spotted genet character, Alessio! Such a cutie! First time drawing a viverrid too! I got a lot of freedom to draw this (basically just 'have fun' haha). I started doodling a pose and it reminded me a bit of a crescent moon (think away the front legs and voila), so I looked up some symbolism behind it and what did I find? The moon is a symbol used in alchemy to refer to silver, a metal which was supposed to have a purifying effect. And this genet here is a surgeon (when in anthro form). So tah-dah, not just a pose I drew because it looked good but it also has some symbolism behind it :D Sorry, I'm such a sucker for symbolism hah xD
