Why ISN'T there a year of the Panda? Seriously???
Sorry this is so late. I started working on it ON Chinese New Year... And that very same day I kinda sorta... Ran away from home? Per say?
Anyway, after about a week my mom finally Noticed I was gone and I had her email me my Works in Progress. Back to work!!
This is kind of pin-up Panda Style. The inspiration for the Cheongsam and the pose come from those 1920 Shanghai advertisements with the pretty girls... I love those. If advertisements now were of pretty ladies in nice clothes posing with the product, I think I would buy more. I was attempting to make it look like those gift money Envelopes- I think they are called Lai See? I don't much like how this turned out. Better luck next year.
