Name - Tetri5
Nickname(s) - none
Species – Porygon
Gender – no gender
Age – 4
Level - 25
Nature - Naive
Moveset – Ice Beam, Hyper Beam, Thunderbolt, Psychic
Ability - Download
Height – 2'5”
Weight – 75.7 lbs
Personality – As per his program, Tetri5 is very obedient of anyone who holds authority over him. He has fun battling, though he wishes he could be a little better at it. He's very curious and analytic. This, combined with a childlike innocence and ignorance of certain aspects of life and social interaction, can make for a bad combination occasionally (for example, he has trouble understanding that a boy can have a boyfriend, or why Chalky's language pattern is so different from an average one). He is naturally eager to please and lend help where he can. He loves electronica music, and was even named Tetri5 because of how much he loves the main Tetris theme, as well as playing the game itself.
Background/History – Created by a former Silph Co. worker who was fired for attempting to tamper with Porygon's design. The scientist was later hired by Team Rocket, promising to be able to create them a much more advanced, powerful, and intelligent Pokemon that would obey any and every commend given by its owner. This scientist particularly spent a lot of time on altering Porygon's physical design, and worked even harder on its artificial intelligence.
The resulting Porygon model is indeed much more intelligent and complex than any other Porygon. Its movement capabilities, learning abilities, and decision-making are especially advanced, making it able to act more like a naturally occurring Pokemon. It learns about the world around it the same way a child would, on top of already knowing anything programmed into it, such as attacks learned by TM, reading, speech, and advanced mathematics. It also is able to process information even faster than a living being with nerves and a normal brain, which should have made it quite a force in battle.
However, with all these mental upgrades added to a Porygon, there was little to no room left for battle skill.
Tetri5, the very first prototype of this new Porygon, was given to a Team Rocket executive (the same one that owned Chalky) to be tested. As much as he tried to train him, Tetri5 simply could not be trained beyond level 25.
As a result, the whole idea was scrapped.
Regardless, Tetri5 continued to stay with Chalky and his trainer, and the two Pokemon were almost instantly close friends. Chalky loved to teach Tetri5 everything he knew, and Tetri5, as per his program, loved to keep learning. Everything was fine, for a time.
But then their trainer was shot by a police officer during a field mission. Tetri5 had been left back at the base, in his PokeBall. Chalky returned there with the news, and told Tetri5 of his intention to leave and start over again. Tetri5, having grown such a strong bond with both Chalky and their trainer, was stricken with grief for quite some time, as was Chalky.
They traveled far together afterward, and eventually reached a place where no humans had even been. There, they formed an exploration team along with Paschel (a Lampent) under a guild run by a Salamence known as Wyvern.
Habits – In his programmed pursuit of knowledge, Tetri5 asks questions frequently the same way a child does. He tends to stay very mobile and doesn't like to be still or quiet for very long.
Body – His basic body design and coloration are altered from that of a normal Porygon. He is capable of much more fluid and advanced movements, and all the parts of his body can even disassemble freely, though not beyond a radius of 10 feet. He can also display an impressive array of emotions with his eyes.
Relatives/Family – none
Trivia – The coloration change was actually sort of a last-minute decision. I had debated with myself briefly over whether Tetri5's name should be spelled Tetri5, T3tris, T3tri5, or T3tr15.
Quotes Worth Reading: “But... how can he be a boy if he looks like a girl?” (meeting Paschel for the first time)
Sexual Description – Completely incapable of reproduction or arousal of any kind, though he has basic knowledge of how it works.
