'tis true. Past interventions have prevented the "Tyrannozilla" weapon from ever executing full potential (that which the limits being unknown). It is unclear if it would be wise to take a gamble and see what that could be.

(I'm talking Kardashev IV+ sort of stuff in the case of the consequences of letting you consume an entire universe.
