Light and Dark. Ying and Yang. Good and Evil. The conflict has existed since the dawn of time, carried out again and again. A battle as old as the bones of the earth. Before the blood and tearing of flesh comes the Staredown- the intimidation of the enemy. Will they back down, or will blood be spilled this night?

A werewolf battle is a complex thing, involving threats and posturing before any actual fighting takes place. These two combatants are testing each other's mettle. It's up to you who you think will win.

This piece was originally done digitally, but I didn't like how it looked so I redid it in watercolor. The scan unfortunately washed out a lot of the lovely soft colors, so until I can find a printer who can make a decent copy, I'll be selling the original. It's an odd-shaped piece- mounted and matted it's 16" wide by 10" tall, matted with a gorgeous antique bronze mat.
