Alright, so we got these amazingly adorable little ape plushies in for Valentine's Day at my Walmart. Aside from being cute, though, they also had perfectly sized, clear, follow-me eyes that taunted me everytime I went to zone them.
Deciding I would apologize later, I bought one with the sole intention of stealing its eyes. Cruel, yes, but they were too pretty for me to pass up on. Also, I wanted to see how they made the eyes work on something like a stuffed animal.
Anyway, I bought the pink guy on the right first. I planned to perform his surgery as soon as I got home, but I was lazy. I waited and he sat in the corner of my dining room as I worked on other suits. A scrap that came off of my mate's bodysuit just so happened to fit as a perfect little cape and hood for him and after cooing over how cute and heroic he looked, I knew that I'd become to attached to cut his eyes out.
Enter the fellow on our left. I bought him today at half price and proceeded to remove his eyes immediately when I got home. Never one to just leave an injured plush injured, I fashioned a little blindfold for him out of scraps. After staring at him for a moment, I made the gauntlet he's currently sporting on his left wrist.
I think these two might become characters. With everything I've put them through, I think they deserve it.
Tl;dR: I'm a terrible person.
