A little something I wrote in reference to the drawing, which is based off a scene in the comic for it. –

+ I’m drowning… drowning in my own misery… wallowing in self-pity and hatred, trying desperately to leave this cruel world and all it’s people behind. Reaching for someone to help my dying soul. Then there he was … rising out of my dreams like a brave knight in shining armor. Saving me from my self, from the cold depressing pain twisting inside of me. Lending a helping hand to me in my time of need… he saved me. My worthless life is now in his hands… in the hands of my hero…+
