Zu Kong is a member of the "Four Pillars", a master with the blade, and a sinister tactician. He is the eldest son and next in line for his royal house. Though a member of royalty he had to work his way up through the ranks, since his family name no longer carried any weight. His family had lost its glory generations ago, and he seeks now to regain his family honor and return them to a position of power at the Emperors court.

His skill has never been with strength but rather agility, speed,,grace and deception. He can be seen practicing his art while balancing a cup on the edge of his blade to further hone his skills.With such focus and speed he only needs a moment to drive his sword into the week spot of an enemy, a moment which he can often gain in a duel by flashing his tail.

Zu Kong is also a master tactician, though his cold and calculating style mixed with his desire for victory at any cost has lead to some dishonorable actions in his time. He was to be promoted to general of the western armies however he knew that there was no glory to be had there. Indeed if he wanted to make a name for himself the place to do it would be in the east. So by careful planning and diplomacy he managed to be transferred directly under the command of the Dragon General himself. He was the only officer under Tanith who was not hand picked by the dragon. However the dragon saw the potential in this young man and gave him the chance to prove himself.
