Freaky Things In Our Park
This is the entry to one of the "Hidden" fortifications in our park, where these forts are located is a fairly decent way in the bush, the forts in this part of the park I haven't explored yet and for some reason they make me uneasy when I am on my own. The white thing (it's a sign) on the gate reads "Sydney Harbour National Park" - Restricted Access, No entry to this tunnel for tours, Then goes into detail about the Bent-Winged Bats that live in that tunnel. The newer sign, which fell off, gave a date on when the bats are in the tunnel (around winter but the closure date is longer). I want to explore this tunnel and the others, but I think i'll wait...
