Sometimes my cockatiels wake me up with singing. Sometimes my cockatiels wake me up with noisy cockatiel sex. And sometimes they like to play with gravity.

Jewel, my female bird, is especially bad about this. I think she forgets she is a bird sometimes because she never really *flies*, so much as she flops from her cage in a downwardish direction.

Invariably, she winds up walking over to my face, and bothering it until I get up from my comfortable resting place, give her a kiss, and put her gently back on top of her cage.
