I felt like doodling today, and this was the eventual result. Everyone meet Ran! Or as he's fully called, Ran-Gao Lung. He's my D&D character. ^..^ He hails from the far east, and he's a Dragon hybrid of sorts. And yes, he's a little chubby. :3 He's been trained as a monk and martial artist, and has since been sent off into the world to explore and learn for a while. I didn't draw any of his weapons or equipment, but he doesn't have much. Just a robe, a backpack, a Butterfly Sword, Naginada, and a Smoke-Powder musket. :D
I spent several hours just sketching away at this one, improving things or changing stuff as I went. I *really* screwed up the arm in my opinion, and got lazy n' didn't draw the other one. :p Still, I'm happy with the result. ^^ Plus its the first thing I've drawn this year. So... yay!

A butterfly sword and musket? doesnt seem very... monkish.
Did the DM let you use the butterfly sword as a monk weapon for your flurry of blows, or just a character trait you added, irregardless of the consequences? :)
Adding stuff that normally noone would doo, pen and paper wise, is what makes good RPers :)

I'd find it hard to not RP giving nice bellyrubs and snuggles to that draggie! He looks inviting enough.
That is a nice, more RPG sensible build and stomach. Nice work!
Is there some trait that keeps this species from growing bigger and taller? I'd imagine over time it would be logical to become basically giant size (much like maturing giants). Imo

If Ran had a twin brother, would he be called Also Ran?
If Ran left on vacation, would we call him Ran Away?
If Ran's car needed fuel, would we call him Ran Out Of Gas?
If someone put Ran in a bag, would we call him Ransacked?
Sorry, I'm in a punny mood this morning. I'll be OK.
