Well this is the morning after the storm finally droped its last snow flakes. What you see here is my backyard with some of the small trees by the fence in the bottom left corner completely bent over, the snow is also about one yard thick every where. It rained like hell allnday yesterday and yet there is still a foot of snow in the ground and today it was about 45 degrees outside and the snow is still about a foot thick! Now we are due for another storm that is said to dump another 1 and a half feet of snow on us! Not enough snow, I want more! Muahahaha!

Wow, just wow. Well I guess. It makes sense since Texas is way down there, but that just seams a little excessive. Its kind of hard to see that as Winter with living here in New York and all where Winter is always cold as balls and Summer is only like 10 degrees hotter than your winter temperature.
The main road, aka a three lane step down from a highway, was plowed and only open for one lane each direction. There were no turning lanes and people were racing quads in the giant strip of snow left in the middle going like 60 miles per hour. Most of the other roads were left unplowed until about four days after the fact. Some streets were only plowed today!
No, we live in Wisconsin. But this weather seems to have been part of a huge weather system that covered most of the country. and we didn't get exactly the same weather you did--as far as I can tell by these pictures, you still have your snow. Unless they're old pictures. But our snow is mostly turned to ice now because we got rain several days ago, a couple of days after we got snow. Then it froze again.
