In his youth he had learned that you were to never go into the Forest of Shadows, for dark things lurked in there. But as he grew older, he grew more and more drawn to the forest until he finally decided to enter it. The forest that used to haunt his nightmares and bring him to the verge of tears now seemed like a soothing and quiet place. He marched deeper and deeper into the wood, and all of the creatures, that would have -to him in his early years- seemed frightening, revealed themselves just to be a clever play of shadows upon the fog that was so thick you could cut it with a knife.
There was nothing to fear here, the only thing that there was to be afraid of, was the constructions of a frightful mind. And this was not an unholy place, but a blissful escape away from the life he led, and he was proud to find himself within it's fog whenever his mind grew troubled.
The character in the image above is Yasuki, Haeden's little brother. Unlike Haeden, Yasuki stayed living among his pack until he turned twenty. And, again, unlike his brother, Yasuki became a lone wolf, refusing to settle down or pick a pack, even though several were willing to take him into their ranks.
