All is Dream and Everything is Real
Something for my beloved
artpsychosis for Valentine's Day.
Thanks for sharing your life with me, accepting me for who I am and believing me. That's something I need to learn as well.
I wanted to edit it a bit, but my tablet died an hour ago..:/
Luckily I drew this a few days ago...

This piece is breathtaking in every possible way!
The expressions, the composition, the colouration, the emotions conveyed, the immensely beautiful sky.
It's just sublime and great art!
...oh, and thanks for the link to that song. I had never heard of this artist before, but that music is so beautiful!

Aww, thanks! Happy Valentine's Day to You also!
And seriously, your wish to draw gifts, is a gift in itself. :) Don't worry, your own kindness and love comes through with your words! You are one of all the kindhearted and great individuals that makes this fandom such a wonderful thing to be part of.

I like Bamboo as well. :) I havent tried many other tablets, except very old ones during my internship, which were LVELY btw! they had versy smooth surface which I prefer, and a pen nib that doesn't get smaller. They were made to last. :P
But I'm gonna buy a Bamboo again yes. It's the same as I had before and the cheapest. :P perhaps a better one in the future but I'm not sure whats all so good about the more expensive ones?

I have an older intuos so it has the slick surface. Honestly I like the bamboo surface better as it feels more like working on real media. I also only got the intuos because I had a friend who got me an amazing discount at the time. When I used it (after having owned the graphire and subsequently the bamboo), I genuinely could not tell the difference in pressure sensitivity response. The only advantage it had at the time was the larger working area (which I believe Bamboo later released a 6x8 as well). And the latter, I would argue really depends on an individual artist's working style. IE some artists are extremely expressive gesture artists who draw from the shoulder, while I tend to draw from the wrist. So for me the biggest size Intuos (Bagheera has a 9x12) is very cumbersome to work on. IE what I am getting at is a lot of artist folks seem to think you need to spend a lot of money and buy the best of the best to be able to create at your peak where that is not necessarily true. Anyway sorry for the off tangent ramble ;P.
Ah yeah, my classmates find small tablets annoying, while I'm able to work fine with it o: Bigger tablets are harder to take with you anyway :P I'm gonna buy an Intuos 4, which is only €99,- now. the cheapeast Bamboo is €60,- sooo there isn't that much price difference :) And no worries about rambling! It was interesting to read :) :P
