I've been experimenting with hair also, so I was wondering.. What do you think :) Should I continue to do hair like this, or the other way where it's just basic shading? I figure you're a good person to ask since you comment a lot and seem to enjoy the pieces I do :)

I think this gives a more realistic feel to the hair, since hair isn't just a few colors, it covers a spectrum.
I like this one better, but the basic shading is more convenient for you as an artist, isn't it?

Personally, I don't mind doing either. Usually have plenty of time to do commissions, so they both work for me as an artist lol though it does take up more layers and time doing it like this. I may add it as a option for future art :)
I've never worked with realistic attributes when it comes to art so I think this will help me try more with it :) Thank you for the help and compliment!! Feedback is extremely important to me because I like knowing how I can improve and what others think.

Always willing to listen :) I don't see why artists wouldn't listen to feedback, it helps them improve

Some get really offended when you give feedback when they didn't ask. Hell some ask and still get offended saying "it's creative license!" or "that's my style, don't critique that!".... Soo stupid =_=
But I'll keep that in mind! =D

There's always room to improve, you shouldn't get offended by someone trying to help. They could at least say thank you and take things into consideration. The people that watch you are your clients and most are more than happy to help, though I do admit some people can be inconsiderate when criticizing, then again some people are touchy too :\ I guess it comes down to who everyone is in the situation

Oh my goodness!!!! This is amazingly adorable!!!!!! I had to show Virskey right away, he loved it just as much! I'm sorry it took me so long to see it - it's amazing!! Sadly he doesn't have an account but he has other things, this is certainly going on his skype!

They are going good, I had a few set backs with making them. I haven't been able to make the last batch of white chocolate yet for 2 reasons, one Virskey has been working a lot recently and when he gets home he doesn't want to work on them with me, and two I think his niece stole my chocolate and is nibbling it at night. >_> I'm sorry it's been slow. I still have the batches done and as soon as I can buy a but more, I'll be sending them out.

Unfortunately I have to keep them cold, so they don't go bad. So I have them wrapped up in the fridge, she keeps sneaking small pieces and I have no proof if its her so I cant yell at her. It could be anyone really, but she's the only one I know of that has her own stash of hershey bars in the fridge that suddenly has stopped restocking on >> But good news is I should have time to finish the chocolates this week and hopefully will be sent out by this weekend if nothing gets in the way

Hm, that does sound suspicious.. hang something on the fridge saying "If you are stealing chocolate MUST pay for them to be remade" lol that should get her
