This is Sami's character Cali, which I drew on 60lb bristol and sent to her for her birthday. I think this one was much better than the version I sent previously. In fact, this may be one of my best drawings to date.

I followed the advice on some of the links Thorndraco had posted, and used action lines in this image. The results are quite dramatic -- the pose is immediately made more dynamic. I'm proud to say that I used absolutely no reference pictures for this pose. I hardly ever use them at all, which explains why my poses are usually so static.
