Yeah, I know... the title's sucky, but I couldn't really come up with anything better. :P

So, it's the first art I uploaded in months...

Oh, wait, I take it back: it's the first art I uploaded in year. Good God... I swear, from now I shall start uploading stuff more often. :P

Back on topic: yeah, I've watched the new "My Little Pony". And I like it. It may not be the best cartoon under the sun, but it sure is one of the better ones and it has a really nice art style.

I made this drawing as a form of "stress relief": last two weeks were a real hell for me... Also I wanted to draw this as a way to experiment with traditional coloring. Overall, I'd like to think it looks decent, but I'm still not quite sure about it... I'm still getting used to drawing using colored pencils. :P

I guess anyone who's familiar with FiM knows who Fluttershy is, so I guess I don't need to describe her. However, I suppose that not many people are familiar with Bushwoolies - these are the small furry creatures that appeared in the G1 series. I figured that if bushwoolies would ever make an appearance in the FiM Fluttershy would be the one to make friends with them.

And I know some of you might roll your eyes at the fact that I incorporated some an element from the (apparently) much disliked G1 into a G4 drawing, but honestly I don't really care. I like G1 and it's characters - I grew up with the old series, I had (and still have) the old toys and the merch. As much as I like FiM, G1 is always going to have a soft spot in my heart because it was a part of my childhood. Sure it's girly and sugar-coated as all hell, but guess what: it's a show intended for little girls. :P
