Sometimes when I've got scrap board I just put pencil to paper and see what pops out. No ideas on sex, species or pose. This shy little raccoon girl is the result of such a free form scribble. 5x10 watercolour on illustration board.

oh hell yeah coony-cyootness for the win. I love how she's looking shyly rom the corner of her eye, and tastefully covering up. You are indeed very talented with the watercolors to have them behave like that... usually I'm like stop jumping in the car, I'll call your parents... don't eat that..

I have to admit that having the tail that long makes me think more of a lemur or ringtail than a raccoon, but I really like the face. >^_^< Nice job with the watercolors, too.

Aww, she is very cute. No matter how I do the markings on a raccoon's face, I can never make them look right. You've done this perfectly. Very nice work on this piece, Heather.
