The cover of this week's "New Yoker" magazine features a cartoon by up-and-coming cartoonist K. Turtle, who joins such illustrious talents as Charles Saddlams, Roz Hest, Ed Korrallen, Mary Prettypony, Otto Saglow, and Saul Stallionberg. K. Turtle's comic makes light of Cloudsdale's repeated loss of hosting status for the annual Equestria Games.

Why would he be lucky? If you *had* swallowed a sip of cola, your mouth would be empty, so I think you're saying your mouth was *full* when you read this, so wouldn't that mean Kinky was at *more* risk of making you spit-take, or is an empty mouth a bigger danger for some reason I haven't come up with yet?
While I'm busy missing the point, I see that the human magazine "The New Yorker" has a list price of $6.99 this month, which seems to indicate that a bit is equivalent to just under two dollars. (I'd say this conflicts with apple pie being two bits when I can't find anything cheaper than fifteen dollars, but maybe local food is cheaper in small towns with big farms?)
Oh, and while I'm getting off-point, it seems there are also "cents" in Equestria's money (see the penultimate quote at http://mlp.wikia.com/wiki/The_Super.....zy_6000#Quotes ). How many cents would you guess comprise one bit, and do you think "$" is any worse as a Bit sign than a Dollar sign?

I remember why I asked that question now!
