The roadbed shows its age, broken ties, and missing spikes. Its an old line failing in its use. Only used for occasional storage at the most, not far from this is the end of the line.

This is down in Washington State along the Kanasket-Palmer line the vantage point is looking northeast. The 'town' of Cumberland is behind me in this picture. I was very lucky to catch the tail end of a little snowstorm that brushed through the area too. ;)

Here in Washington there's alot of rail-trail conversions. Alot of the old lines that went out of service were converted to public access hiking/biking/horseback trails. They lace the state and really highlight some beautiful country.
