XD I cannot say I have ever heard of those. The only firefighting robots I saw, were the meatbag variety...

DARPA was allegedly (Navy Times) working on Fire Fighting robots that would deploy "foam grenades". Another one of those wonderful robots they've been trying to develop...like the robot "pack mule" and the "cheetah" robot that can run faster than a human...

All that money, and we can't even get PMS done correctly...

they would have a better option of just putting Foam pumps into the room and filling the room up, i kinda want to know how well those foam grenades would work since foam is 97% water if your using the 3% Foam or 94% water if using the 6% foam

I remember my confusion the first time my lookout came to the bridge carrying that thing and I realized it wasn't a gun. I then asked him if it played Pink Floyd music while you used it in the hopes a laser light show would distract the target.

Would Rail guns be one of the tax money issues from the past? I remember reading an artical about navy putting them on ships starting or done by 2014. I think rail guns are freaking amazing, but that may just be the big gun lover in me talking xD That and sci-fi weapon lover

Yeah, I've heard some of the same. I've had a few fun theories on ship design for a railgun equipped DDG. For now they are just fun ideas. XP
