The shittiest rap songs are the most popular because Rap, to explain it simply, is the complete reverse side of the musical spectrum. The less like actual music that it sounds...the better rap it is. When it gets to the point that it has NO musical talent in it whatsoever...you get to what I call the 'Oh shit son' stage where all the 'rap enthusiasts' (for lack of better words) start to freak out about how 'awesome' it is.
I'm getting really tired of people who take old songs and DO NOTHING but rap over them! >.< There've been so many daft punk rips lately, i wanted to punch out this black guy at school. I was listening to Technologic and he was all like, "Yo! Tha's that new Busta'Rymes shit!"

Yes, every time I hear that song on the radio, I think about Linus on his piano. Recently, the Hispanics have decided to bring in their radios to compete with the the Africans' radios, so all I hear all day long is out-of-sync Spanish hip-hop mash-ups.
