Minecraft Zombie Leafeon Mob v-0.5.0
Hopefully people do not get the notion that I am just another bland macrophile artist that does next to nothing with my abilities other than giants, paws, crushing and ambiguous normal characters that still look like macros.
So here is the Zombie Leafeon I promised ages ago. This one will probably be a major headache to code in with at least 30 polygons. Thankfully, nothing super complicated. Its why I stick to the vanilla coding rather than asking in a Minecraft forum how to animate/model stuff a bit less restricted than this.
I have to say, this was quite fun once I sat down and started. Probably took about 5-6 hours to model and texture (about 3 were at work on the busiest business day of the month so far).
Zombie Leafeon is expected to take coding to make it with reasonable attack, low health, armored and most importantly, Spider speed and leap attack. It should spawn in tree related biomes including Taiga. As you can tell, it is fungus infested, so it's drops will be Mushrooms and maybe some other plant items that may be added later (may do leaf blocks if I add a use for them).
This guy will be coded in and officially deployed into my own game with my first fairly significant update which should include working machinary (furnace-like) blocks for the Neo Victorian branch of the mod.
If you have attended my casual Livestreams so far, you will have noticed I have already added Copper/Zinc Ore/Ingots/Blocks and of course, Zombies Flareon and Umbreon. And on one stream, you know that the Flareon three shots you if it ambushes you. This may change but I have not decided. I did not add the debuff I had planned. I do not know for sure if I really will add one. If I do, I might cut the spawn rate. And of course, Umbreon is still a tough bugger. I think it takes at least 6 swings with a stone sword to kill.
They drop Blaze Powder and Lightstone Dust respectively as uncommon drops and Rotten Flesh as regular drops. I expect this to change eventually.
You will also have seen some odd items such as the Eye of Apollyon and Ivory Dreamweave. These will not gain use for some time but will be an evolutionary item for a tamable, Ebony/Ivory versions Pokemon that I expect to add later.

Does that mean you have never played the game before?
Well, its in Java, but probably not that big of deal for a programmer. There are a ton of tutorials and documentation on Forge for modifying Minecraft. As for this modeler, Techne, I taught myself and had to learn many of its limitations the good old fashion hard way. xD
I can't remember for sure what all I had to look up to finally get my mobs into my mod, but, meh, I would say anyone who does this for a living could probably do this easily.
But overall its nice. Just that upfront purchase for the account/license and you are good to go. I don't think I have paid a thing since I originally bought Minecraft several years ago. I dunno if that has changed though...
If I had a long winded convo with someone, I could speculate how to make a rather interesting Macrophile mod. But I would not want to type it all out. xD And the mod making would take a long time to make I think... so I have no motivation to pursue it.
