Because I work full time on commissions, I don't have time to do comics as a part of my regular routine unless I'm making money on them. Those who contribute send me references of their characters so I can include them in the backgrounds. This way I can do a page a week between commissions without losing income :)

since i don't see it already in the comments - excellent choice of chair types. that's an all-too-often overlooked factor and you handled it completely without pointing it out artistically, it's just a fact-as-drawn

I love your art and I trully believe the story is already captivating, I will say this as a notice, not critique. I don't understand one maybe minor detail.

What season is it in your story ? Is it hot or is it warm? The main character is pictured with warm clothes, the whole background is shown in bright and warm colors. The windows(They are windows, someone is walking by) indicate a nice sunny day.

And there are two topless sexy guys in a public cafe. This sets off the whole concept for me in many ways. I don't say it as something necessarily bad, heck, I like what I see. But what's going on ? I don't see topless guys much unless it's lockers rooms in the gym, washing their car or at beaches and beach bars D:!

I figure furries have a lot less to be worried about in terms of clothes and don't necessarily need to wear them for warmth because they have fur. Cinder, on the other hand, has a much more pressing reason to wear long sleeves - he can't let anyone see his arm markings. So it's just a matter of choice. As for the climate - it's a Canadian climate, late fall/mid-December type of weather (which means that the sun being out is a farcicle of a lie in terms of the actual temperature outside - we have bright, sunny days where you could still freeze your balls off if you didn't go out in a heavy jacket). Realistically that means it could be 10 degrees celsius outside or -15. I'm from this sort of climate so to me this is an everyday sight, but I forget not everyone lives in a place where the weather is sort of Dr. Jekyyl/Mr. Hyde.

P.S. should say Southern Ontario, not Canadian, since other parts of Canada are temperate or bloody awful. We're a 'humid continental climate.' Which means four seasons and extreme-ish weather all around (really hot summers, really cold winters).

Is he reacting to the book or the cup? The way I see it, something in the book made him freeze the cup on accident. Or he sat up because he froze the cup and the book has nothing to do with it. It's gonna bother me until I know for sure XD

You know I just noticed this, is this one of those worlds where the people always where the same outfit? Because this is from (i'm assuming) several month's before the first page and he's still got his same, yet awesome, outfit on.
