So, i know i've been away. And the reasons for my absence of late...well they're my own. But i haven't been myself.

This is Lyra, my family recently gifted her to me...on Christmas actually, just as i was at my worse. They thought her company would do me good, and they were right. I feel better than i did; i go out now, but shes always with me. Shes given me some confidence, and motivation....maybe a little frustration, but at the same time patience.

So this is me advocating the healing qualities of animals. Lyra is a registered service dog. Shes my emotional support when my "support sytem" fails me.

I named her after a constellation (2 brownie points if you know which one!)
