It's an SX. They're basically cheap imitations, but they sound excellently great.

Ooooh, a 6 string jazz style. You don't come across those too often. A 6 string bass is definitely on my "seriously want to get" list.

this one is a very nice one. Though, I still need to get the saddles and truss rods adjusted by a professional, it still has a nice sound. SX's are really inexpensive. This one only cost me $170, plus $20 for ground shipping, but that varies.

I've heard SX is pretty much the unbeatable in its price range. Truss rod adjustments are kind of a bitch on 6 stringers. It took me a long time to be able to do bridge / TR adjustments.

It's only 10lbs too. The only problem I have about it is that the nut for the strings to rest on isn't glued in. It slides out. Maybe that's just mine though.

That's pretty damn light for a 6 stringer. My 4 string is about that heavy >.>

And yes, double truss rods are a bitch, haha.

As for the nut, it's probably not the end of the world if it isn't glued in. There should be enough tension to keep it in place. Then agan, it's also a very easy fix.

I know it's not a big deal, but it's one of those little things that sticks with you. It does stay in place once the strings are on, so it's not really anything of a problem o3o

I will also warn you that the potentiometers / electronics on many of the inexpensive inport basses can go pretty quick. It *may* be worth just replacing the pots with some CTS pots, which is a pretty cheap and easy thing to do. If something is gonna go wrong on an instrument, you can bet it's gonna happen at the least opportune moment

Well, I am supposed to go to the music store tomorrow or Saturday. I can ask the people about it and see how much that would be. I don't have much on me at the moment. Thanks for the tip though :3
