It's a type of liquid acrylic that comes in little bottles. Dark Natasha tuned me onto it a couple years back. It's great for fine detail over other colours as it's very opaque. The white in this pic is done with it.

Sometimes being held is just what is needed. The grey paper is good for moody scenes like that. I suppose it's the artist's equivilent of the "blue filter" that Hollywood directors seem so intent on using lately. Good job. :)

I know you posted this a year ago, but I just gotta say that I really like it. You can really feel the love and tenderness coming off them, even if it is a quickie.
