I received this submission while I was checking my emails and FA on my DS, which can't play music off websites. Getting frantic due to the title, for obvious reasons. So at 9pm, I rush around the house, trying to find the iPad to listen to this. So far, I have no idea whether this is actually related to "primal dialga" because you just started the piece, and I can't hear any trace of the MIDI. If that is intentional, this piece is actually a bit too far away from the MIDI and I would almost call it a different song altogether. Noticing some sloppy chords, fix them up to make sure that nothing sounds out of place, and make sure the texture isn't over the top (remove a few unneeded instruments) to stop the song just sounding like a chaotic mess. Add some legato (long, slow notes often played by low strings or synth pads) taste to your song at some stage, with only a piano solo playing on top, if this is the PDR. Trust me, it boosts the song a lot, if you do it right! Also, this song should have a key change! Even in the full orchestral piece with all the songs, unless you don't plan on making the next song soft and quiet and sad. Hopefully, I haven't "critiqued the wrong song" and just gotten the names confused because of the word "primal". Probably have, as you didn't mention my name or any copyrights in the desc.
...I have no idea what "primal" means, ironically, seeing that I know this song better than even the Sea Of Time...

It is not the remix of Primal Dialga heh, it's based on the structure of it, that is to say, I'm applying what I've learned in an original composition. The crit is always appreciated, so I'll clean it up a tad! It does have a similiar name though, so I could see it being mixed up with the song it's based off of.
Yep, it's modled after it, so to speak. I figured I could learn more if instead of just remixing, I try to make my own piece based off of the original; using it as a guide if you would. My theory is, with time, I should be able to make songs that are not repetative by doing these excercises. I did clean it up too! As much as I loved the piano, I realized I veered off course in terms of the model in that I had two complicated melodies (piano and trumpet) going on at the same time, which was a huge no go, so I omitted the piano and put it on a channel with no volume in case I can use it elsewhere.
