Heh a more troll reply to the people had that happened to me would have been me saying afterwards "Wreck it Ralph? Never heard of it and isn't sonic that spiky guy on the clouds throwing things at mario trying to kill him?" which the truth is the most of that I've heard is seeing it on a shelf in a store while going though the electronics section movie rows. and the part about who is sonic would have been a troll move on my part since these days when you see a new sonic game is is like they just made it to make a sonic game and while he has had good points they seem to be mostly passed. case point last sonic game I enjoyed had magic rings and some sort of story book and a genie. last I played and heard of was sonic colors which was a nightmare for months..
Yeah, I remembered a lot of folks being disappointed with how the film came with because of the marketing. With all the cameos in the posters and trailers, there was a lot of assumptions that the characters would be jumping through the more licensed games (kind of like during the credits sequence); and in the end we go through a total of, what, five or six games in total? That's what made me a bit annoyed about how they handled Sonic, he got all the poster space, but nope, just two passer-bye sequences! XP
Oh well, a sequel has already been announced and apparently Nintendo is going to let them have Mario in there in a speaking role.
