I hesitated to upload these last two for a while - they lacked something, but dissapearing again having uploaded only one image doesn't sound polite.
Aerial and antler seem to be linked in my mind for some reason... As well as telekinesis and deer. If magic existed, I bet deer would walk around with levitating shrapnel for antlers. Have no idea why. "Cool" isn't nescessarily a big evolutionary advantage in animals other than human.
(This one has way too much going on... Maybe cause I started with a drawing of a cathedral and flying bricks.)
(I don't think the composition works good enought.)
(And no, this isn't an explosion.)
(Despite the chaotic background.)
(Really.)
(I'll re-paint this picture better, some day.)

This is better'n you're giving it credit for, sir. That head's got some nice modeling; only thing I'd question is the geometry for the end of the snout. You've really done a great job shaping the top of the head. The end of the snoot feels flat in comparison. This is a nicely finished quick sketch!

Yes the composition is a bit off. It almost looks like a botched photo of a curious and smug deer.
Instead maybe having brought the camera down some, or doing a vertical format with the whole deer, and maybe, though considering the background and the intentions of having the floaty feeling, maybe not, drawing a ground to give him a reference. The ground could have even been like a street or sidewalk as the background looks a little like concrete. The deer's face though itself looks like it would make a wonderful icon though.

Very interesting abstract piece, smug telekinetic deers!!!
I think it could be forgiven for the fact that more famous artists have gotten away with worse pieces. Never mind the fact that they may have gotten famous it still pertains to the fact that they produced things with obvious problems sometime unrecognizable masses of shapes and because they were accepted that they could call it "their style"... others get frikkin hung on a cross but the so called "greats" could do it because somebody gave it a thumbs up and the drone society blindly agreed.
You had an objective with this piece, I can tell what it is, albeit I understood and could get into your head more with the help of your description. Therefore with absolutely no credibility, proof, or certification behind my name... I say success!!!
cheers bud!

I really like the concept in this - the brush shapes in the background replicating the structure of the floating antler pieces are a nice touch, and as always you did a great job of creating a lot of interesting shapes with very few visible brush strokes.
Uuh...criticism...Well, I agree with berbalang that the snout could use a few highlights to make it look less flat, and I'm not sure if I like the horizontal line near the bottom...seems a bit distracting. Hope this was at least marginally helpful

Ofcourse it is! Thanks a bunch! Yes, that line didn't seem quite there and i suppose i made it too sharp. Then again, without somthing horizontal it just looked bland... In retrospective: should've put a wider and less active horizontal line a bit higher - closer to the eyes. Maybe it would've worked. maybe...
