Ah, I see. Count Gregore was a horror host starting in the late 50's and continuing on into the 80's. Sweet.
We had our own share of horror movie hosts here in Cleveland starting with Ghoulardi, aka Ernie Anderson. Ghoulardi's Shock Theater transferred to The Hoolihan and Big Chuck Show, which then morphed into The Big Chuck and Li'l John Show. (Note, The Ghoul is played by Ron Swede, who was Ernie Anderson's intern at WJW-TV Channel 8.
Then, on a different channel, we had Super Host, played by Marty Sullivan. He was geared more towards kids, and his later shows included a lot of comedies from the Marx Brothers, Three Stooges, and so forth.
