So Chuck E. Cheese recently changed it's mascot design RADICALLY (get it? Because he has a guitar), and as I'm sure it did to many of my fellow 90s children it hit me as a bit of a shock. But then I thought about it... and honestly guys... that old mascot of theirs was terrifying.
Absolutely terrifying.
And while that will always have a certain appeal (to terrible, terrible people like me), it also prevents people (like me) from doing non-terrifying fan art of the character (unless you think being digested alive is terrifying, which you probably should). So yeah, times change, and we have another fairly generic cute CGI character cluttering the airwaves... but we also have THIS. So... everybody happy?

ah,, yes my bad, stank,, it was the bowling derby hat, and vest, i beleive at oen time int he late 80's they added him in a black tuxedo, and top hat, just before they eliminated the space dog(name escapes me) form the character line up, i believe it was him and one other character remaining form the old rock-a-fire explosion lineup, at the time.
sadly though,, chuckechees wasn't one of my direct childhood memorys, around my community or within good distance at the time. kinda like toysR'us or jack in the box. you HEAR about the places but never seen them.
