Since I suck and haven't uploaded anything in a while, I figured I'd fix one of my old MED tracker tunes, which was supposed to be for... um, some furry-themed game thing.
This is part 2 of a 3-part module. The other parts weren't so great. Holy cow, this is old, too. 1994, I think.
I know zilch about composing music, so... what kind of style would this be? Industrial? Electronica? The all-encompassing label of Techno?
For you tracker enthusiasts, you can download the original XM file here: My Music Page

More like Sly Cooper meets Tron!
Hey, the tremolo bass was inspired by the Recognizer from the movie Tron, and is actually a compressed and horribly clipped sample from the introduction vocals from Terminator 2.
Ah, the glorious butchering of so many genres! That's what MODs are all about.

Nice work!! Do you have the oriiginal MED/MOD file somewhere? These are so neat to play and sound much better than an MP3 recording IMO, especially since the compression does dung up the original sampling a bit... Plus meds/mods are just so keenly Small in size!! I still have all the ones I got from Aminet and the old days...
Yup! I haveta remember to add the link to each FA submission, since the music page on my web site is obsolete and isn't accessible through my NineChime gallery, anymore.

The "HdInstall.xm" file is the version you hear now, and has been tweaked and time corrected. The "HdInstallLong.xm" is the original file, and was a quick MOD->XM port, so it sounds a bit weird, and has broken instrument loop points.

Thank ye! As I suspected, Much better audio when played from the original :) I've always liked it when the machine is actually Working when it plays the music, as it is acting more like a sequencer rather than just spewing out the audio like a tape player. Being able to do this Way before the general public could back in 92/93 gave me butterflies :)
